I should note that I do have my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and work as a community health nurse. The whole reason I am able to start blogging is because I am on maternity leave. I spend my days at home w my son but in the evenings once he has gone to bed for the night, I find myself constantly pulling out that Kitchen Aid mixer of mine, getting covered in flour&sugar and seeing what I can come up with.
I absolutely, whole heartedly, LOVE LOVE LOVE to bake (&cook)! Since I am forever baking, I thought I should have a place to organize and display all my successes, attempts and my messes! My blog will be a mix of ranting, first attempts, trial&errors and deliciousness! A lot of the recipes I will be trying will be adapted from others, I am always seeing these beautiful desserts that other bakers have created and love to try them myself! Sometimes I look at a few of the same recipe and take bits&pieces from each and combine them into one! Anywho, I hope you all follow along for long enough that I have a chance to start writing recipes of my own!
